CAKO's Homework
Your assignment is to write a single paragraph that DESCRIBES A LANDSCAPE to open a novel or short story (that you may wish continue to write!) It may help to imagine your opening as a set for a film that you are describing. (Check on the word tone list that I attached if you are searching for mood words.) You may introduce a character or some action into your landscape, but the description of the scene must be the main focus.
Have fun with this creative assignment, but plan on sharing orally with class!
OK I'm really bad at creative writing so I'm going to listen to this song for inspiration while I do it.
