there are many monsters here, but The Minions have more.

My Singing Monsters is a 2012 mobile game created by Big Blue Bubble. The gameplay is your average run of the mill breeding and monster placing mobile game, but with a musical twist. The game is known for it's amazing tracks (Party Island, Space Island, Cloud Island, etc..) and numerous monster creatures.

Gameplay

The game is on mobile devices, so basically, you're gonna do a lot of tapping. You can breed two monsters together to make new monsters, except you can't do that for: Dipsters, Werdos, most of the Shugafam, Mythicals, Supernaturals, Celestials, Rares, Epics, probably more!

Plot

The game starts with an explorer named "Monsters Joe" an eccentric investigator that loves to find monsters. One day, Monsters Joe gets sent to hell and dies, meanwhile, you decide to download My Singing Monsters from the app store.

Development

My Singing Monsters was originally going to be released for the PS5 VR, but then they realized that didn't exist yet, so they decided to make it for mobile devices instead.

Design

To help with designing monsters, they brought in super monster designer Jim Henson, which is why there is also a Muppets' styled My Singing Monsters game that realized a year later. That actually exists.

Music

The music is amazing, so you can tell they brought in legendary artist Grant Kirkhope to make the songs. He made various songs like "What are you talking about" and "I never worked on any Singing Monsters game"

Release

The game came out in 2012. Good for them!

Reception

The game was released with little to no acclaim. Then, in a clever marketing campaign, they crossed over with another popular mobile game franchise, Angry Birds. After this, My Singing Monsters quickly became one of the Mobile Games to release.

Controversy

They put too much singing into the game :/
