Atlanta Braves

The Atlanta Braves are the oldest team in Major League Baseball, based in the city of Atlanta. Unfortunately, the term "Braves" is another example of the Indigenous mascot controversy. Why can't they name their team the Waves, like in New Atlanta, due to the city's music scene?
