Location of Caspian Sea, situated within the region of Greater Caspia. It is thought, given its shape, Caspian Sea was once made of dirt, much like its neighboring countries.

The Caspian Sea is a lake. It is the vertical version of the Black Sea.

Flora

The CS is home to, presumably, wondrous lilies, creeping vines, and humble kelp. The most notable vegetation, however, would have to be peppers! The soul of spice within the heart of every pepper is named after the Caspian.
