An edit is something you do to a page.
If you fight over what contents should be in a page via editing, then it is called an Edit War.
Remember to look at the view history! An edit might be made to this very page RIGHT NOW!

Editing can very in frequency from a few seconds at a time to entire hours of just waiting.
In Challenge 4, this specific page can only be edited by Wikiascratchboy. This isn't applicable to most other pages.
Though rules do dictate this. It is only the norm for pages made under the Things (official) category. Other pages not created for the challenge are exempt from this.
Edits are beneficial to wiki operation. So, basically, you should edit at least once a day!
