Wiki profile | king |
I, Toasty, am a potential contestant on The Wiki Camp 2.
Appearance
I am a standard 2-slice toaster with a square build and a metallic red finish on both of my side panels. My slots are described as "extra-wide" in marketing, but their diameter in actuality is about average when compared to other modern toasters on the market. While I possess a face, I do not have any limbs standard of other objects. Rather, the legs at the bottom of my toaster body itself are capable of a full range of motion, allowing me quadrupedal movement likened to that of a "weird dog". I often adorn myself with stickers and charms on my side panels for special occasions.
Personality
I am best known for my easygoing and cheerful nature, seen in my constant serene attitude both in and out of The Wiki Camp's competitive environment, alongside my frequent encouragement towards my allies to "slow down and enjoy the little things". This relaxed personality can be detrimental however, as beyond my overall ditzy disposition, my lack of a competitive ego can make me come off as aloof or disinterested in times of quick action. But when surrounded by my friends and given the patience to act, I am a genial team player who does best supporting those around me with their struggles as an advocate of self-love and affirmation.
Abilities
While otherwise unremarkable when compared to any other ordinary toaster, I, Toasty, possess the anomalous psychological property where I inexplicably cannot be documented or referred to with anything other than first-person pronouns. This article therefore is not a self-written or personal account of myself as a competitor on The Wiki Camp 2, rather its writer is simply incapable of describing me without falsely identifying themselves as me process. There is no known cause for (nor apparent benefit to) this power, as I am otherwise a standard sentient object who is seemingly unaware of the affect that I have on other people around me in a given conversation.
Coverage
Challenge 1
In the first challenge, my own character page was created so that I could become an official competitor in The Wiki Camp. I was noted as being quite excited to have the chance to "participate in a real camp" and that I "wished everybody else good luck, as well". I would end up receiving a total of 128 points, and would tie for 31st place alongside SFD Jigsaw Piece.
Challenge 2
In the midst of the team assembly process for Challenge 2, I stepped forward to assist in the conceptualization of Anyone Who’s Played Candy Crush Level 87 Understands That the Idea of a Compassionate God Is a Naive One's carrd, as I was the only member present at the time who knew of a way to make a page for the team that didn't involve the likes of Squarespace, a company that I completely and utterly despise.
Trivia
- I am a direct reference and tribute to SCP-426, borrowing and taking inspiration from not only it's fundamental meta properties, but the exact object featured within the article as well.
