Wordle was a pioneer in gaming, being counted among the first to tie gameplay and story together into one cohesive experience. However, the plot of Wordle is sadly nonsensical, as it is created personally by the user every time they play it. Many have tried to interpret the 1-6 word long story events, but there is no consensus.

Players choose from a [[cache]] of 26 unique letters (a reference to [[The Alphabet|the alphabet]]) to assign to each tile which is assigned to 5 unique spaces, ordered 1-5, which are confined to a unique row, at most of which there are but six. Touching the bottom row is an instant loss '''(X/6)''', unless the player happens to unlock all five green tiles at once, known as a Green Gabriel.
