Automation

Would it be allowable if I wrote a scripts that automates some user actions on my account? Obviously, I will not attempt anything malicious or disruptive, and any writes/edits would be made at a human rate. Something along the lines of consistent daily or hourly edits/appendages to a page, or a daily file upload.
