Beach Day at Lake Baikal is the first ever unofficial Wiki Camp 2 short in which the competitors go on a trip to Lake Baikal. The events of the short take place shortly after the events of Edit War.

Note: This does not have to be written in order or even all the same format.

Episode

In the beginning, in the lake...

The walk to the lake

The camera zooms in on Copper Salts and Copper Pepper walking to the lake as their conversation fades in.
...the day we have planned.
Let's just hope we don't encounter any ugly nerpas.
You know, I never got why so many people around here hate nerpas. What's that all about?
Oh, why wouldn't you hate them? They're so ugly and smell of gasoline! They're horrid abominations that need to be rid from this Earth!
Okay, I will never understand this, but if you really don't want to see any nerpas today, then I don't either.
Oh thasnk that's really sweet, Anyway, we'd better be careful; I heard the nerpulation is on the rise, so avoiding them may be more of a challenge.

Another group of lakegoers...

Crossout and Whysee step out onto the sands of Lake Baikal.
Huh. Seems you know this place better than me.
Um, yeah? I basically live in here.
In... here?
When someone wants me to, yeah. But I don't mind too much. I really like the beach, actually!
I don't think staying here very long will do us any good. Besides, did you hear what the others were saying?
Yeah... I guess you're right. Those seals ARE pretty cringy. Wouldn't wanna run into any...
...But I'd at least like to touch the water...
...
Fine. Don't expect me to take any other pit stops though.

On the other side of the beach...

Gaty is sitting by the beach, thinking about things.
What you doin', lil' fella?
You didn't have to call me that. Anyways, I'm just looking out.
Oh. Well, you do that.
Big Boy's driver sits down.
You know, I never thought I'd be out here in the Real World again. It's been a while.
I see. You did say you came from America, right?
I do. It's always an honor to teach railfans from across the country about Union Pacific's history.
Nice. Trains are cool. By the way... what's that smell?
Big Boy's driver looks left.
It's a seal! But wait a minute. Why does it smell so... atrocious?!
Just... so.... GROSS!
