Xbox 360
The Xbox 360, also known as the Xceptional Box of Xteremes model 360, is a uhhhhth-generation console released alongside the smash hit Nintendo Wii and the much less so, game-less, Playstation 3. Many games were released for the system, including (but not limited to) Lego star wars III the clone wars for the xbox 360, based on the highly popular show Star Wars: The Clone Wars, A Kingdom for Keflings and it's sequel A World of Keflings, Sonic '06, Madden '06, Fifa '06, Plants VS Zombies, Peggle, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, 2D Minecraft and 3D Terraria, Hexic, and I think Crazy Taxi is in there somewhere.
Among it's massive list of games, it also premiered some services and peripherals that would become staples of the Xbox franchise, such as the Kinect. One of the best known examples of these is XBOX
LIVEEEEEEEE, which allowed many things to happen, such as online play, access to an exclusive store i think, and exclusive emotes to be used in a total of like 5 fucking games. Another thing is the XBOX
LIVEEEEEEEE Arcade, which games would be uploaded to the service to bought exclusively from, such as Castle Crashers, Uno, and Portal. It's worth noting that no game released for the service exceeds 20 bucks in price, so it is extremely affordable for many people, and allows many to play exceptional games, such as the incredible GEOMETRY WARS 2 BABYYYY WOOOOOOO LET'S GOOOOOO
One of the biggest faults of the system, however, is it's infamous Red Ring of Death. This results from the console shitting itself from how exceptional some of it's games are, and displaying 3 red lights around the power button. To anyone who actually read the Manual, this should immediately set off red flags, as this denotes what is known as a "General Hardware Failure", which we in the business know as "a bit of a problem". This is very bad, and as such, newer models attempt to fix the reliability of the great system, by making it more reliable and less prone to displaying the three red lights of doom. In case you were wondering, four red lights does not mean the console is about to detonate, it just means it's not plugged in. Quite underwhelming, honestly.
It's called that because when you see it, you turn 360 degrees and walk away.
