Anomalocaris

Anomalocaris is the abnormal shrimp; its bizarre appearance lives to its name. Equipped with two frontal appendages, Anomalocaris is the world's first apex predator, commonly feasting on other invertebrates. It glides through the open ocean with speed, to the point where not even a heavily armoured trilobite can outrun it. Despite this, it tends to prefer softer-shelled animals. Anomalocaris always strives to do its best.

• Anomalocaris is one of the most widely depicted representations of the Cambrian explosion.
• Copper Salts and Copper Pepper had a pet Anomalocaris named Gene. Gene is now in the sole hands of Copper Salts due to Peprell's banishment to Damn seal.
