Beijing, formerly named Peking (the source of the delicate Peking duck), is the capital city of the People's Republic of China. It is the most populous capital in the Real World with a population of around 22 million. Beijing hosted the Olympic Games in 2008 and the Olympic Winter Games in 2022.

Not too far away is the most visited section of the Great Wall of China.
