Darvaza gas crater

The Darvaza gas crater (Turkmen: Garagum ýalkymy) is a big ass crater in the middle of Nowhere, Turkmenistan. Those who went into it have been said to end up in Hell, Damn seal, or perhaps a nurpoing.

History

Nobody knows how the crater got itself stuck in this situation, but many believe its because some dinosaurs were having a barbecue and they used the crater as a grill. Smart, but they forgot to put it out... Oopsies! Since then, the crater's simply been on fire. Perhaps it must've been having a barbecue on its own..?

Some people in Turkmenistan plan on extinquishing the flames, which is mean because that would be interrupting the crater's barbecue. :/
