The Dingus challenge is a challenge taken on by TikTokers and influencers[prediction] to remember the first appearances of incidental characters upon their reintroduction. When a piece of media introduces a character in a difficult to notice manner, you may not remember their first appearance by the time you see them again. The Dingus challenge involves reexamining old material searching for incidentals so that they recognize them in new material that includes them in a more consequential manner.
