The Hibernian Archipelago is a collection of islands in the North Sea, composed of Ireland and Great Britain. Prior to reunification, part of Ireland was contained within the United Kingdom, but this historical mishap has been corrected. The archipelago is named after the latin name for Ireland, and is often incorrectly referred to as the "British Isles", mostly by casuals.
They call it the Hibernian Archipelago because it's hier than the Iberian Peninsula.
