Hide and seek

Once a quintessential example of child's play, hide and seek has now become a major catalyst for taking gaming to real life with the assistance of accessible public transit. This was popularized by the ever so wonderful Jet Lag people. As of 04:45, 17 June 2025 (UTC), we here at The Wiki Camp 2 have confirmed two cities, two sovereign states, and zero administrative divisions to be boards for a game of modern hide and seek.

Chronology

2024

• Switzerland is the first of 193 sovereign states to host a nationwide game of hide and seek, serving as the ninth season of JLTG.
• Japan is the second sovereign state to host a nationwide game of hide and seek, serving as the twelfth season of JLTG.

2025

• New York City hosts a citywide game of hide and seek, serving as an unofficial season of JLTG. The United States potentially becomes the first country to host a citywide game of hide and seek.
• Stuttgart hosts an unofficial citywide game of hide and seek, among the first in Germany.
