L'isola dei sogni (Italian for "The Island of Dreams") is an opera in three acts by Giuseppe Verdi, set to an Italian libretto by Raul Cantu. It is set in an unknown location, where a rich man biddy biddy bums and advertises the island of luxury. Those who are interested look for a missing ticket and bring it back to the rich man, only for them to find out it was a scam. The opera is renowned for its themes of friendship and betrayal, and partially inspired Battle for Dream Island.
