Luke Warm is a reported human that exhibits a complete immunity to extreme temperature environments, always maintaining an ideal warm inner body temperature.

First appearances

Luke Warm was first sighted in 1992, where he was pelted with stones by superstitious villagers. Tales of his indifference to heat and cold spread rapidly, with the average person becoming quickly familiar with his presence. Linguists report that by 2026, it became common to refer to the ideal temperature as "lukewarm", in his honor.

Potentially related phenomena

Luke Warm is postulated to be affected by a similar spirit that was said to inhabit Goldilocks, Anders Celsius, Daniel Gabriel Fahrenheit, and Lord Kelvin. A malicious form of this spirit likely influenced W. J. M. Rankine.
