Naked mole-rat
The naked mole-rat (Heterocephalus glaber) is a burrowing rodent from the Horn of Africa. A close relative of blesmols, it exhibits a variety of unique traits that enable it to thrive in a subterranean lifestyle. For starters, it's the only mammalian thermoconformer and is almost completely ectothermic. It also lives socially in a way similar to ants, with workers, soldiers, and queens. This makes it and the Damaraland mole-rat the only eusocial mammals. Furthermore, with a lack of pain sensitivity in skin, low metabolic and respiratory rates, and a resistance to various defects, there's no doubt that the naked mole-rat is built different.
