Oh, I love making puzzles! In fact, I've written an entire MIT Mystery Hunt back in 2023! Not to mention a challenge entry around yours truly. Really, it's all about finding the connections between things.

These puzzles have been proposed more as mathematical/logical challenges to be proven possible, but solutions have yet to be found.
Puzzle hunting
The best puzzlers congregate for the ultimate intellectual test, the puzzle hunt. A typical puzzle hunt features multiple feeder puzzles, whose answers blend with each other to devise the ultimate solution to the metapuzzle.
Puzzling in the Wiki Camp Discord
Besides Mate, most non-Sudoku puzzles never really took off in the Wiki Camp community, at least not as far as User:SGuySMW is aware. However, the Galactic Puzzle Hunt does seem to be picking up. Furthermore, the MIT Mystery Hunt—the biggest hunt of the year—has been mentioned a couple times out of context when it comes to Mate as a thing (official).
