Sand Seals are walrus-adjacent pinnipeds that are proficient in riding the desert dunes. Wild Sand Seals are skittish and flee when approached, but domesticated Sand Seals are rented as transportation across the sand.

Ecology
Sand Seals are omnivorous, standing out from most other seals, due to the lack of fish in the desert. Their diet mainly consists of fruit, especially the water-rich melons. They may eat bugs and lizards.
Sand Seals are only hunted by Molduga. As Sand Seals tend to laze about in packs, Molduga can take out an entire family in a single bite.
