- This template is used to create BFDIA 5b-style dialogue boxes for transcripts or quotes.
- Syntax
- Type
{{Dia|<character code>|<dialogue>}}, where <character code> is one of the codes below. - If the given line does not have a character attached (e.g. stage directions), use
{{DiaEmpty|<dialogue>}}instead. - If the given line does have a character attached but is not included in the codes below, use

- Requirements for new images
- When uploading a new image to be used with this template, please upload it as a PNG file with the name "Dia[code].png", where [code] is the name you want, which is used in the following section. Uploading it in 80x80px resolution is recommended but not required, as the template will resize images to fit that size.
List of available images and character codes
When you add a new code that's not exactly equal to the name of the character, please update Module:Dia code so the template can correctly link to the article about the character if the code is used.
Also, this is not an exhaustive list, as many fan-made images exist, and this only lists canon ones used in transcripts.
