Template:Tumblr

There are three Tumblr templates: Tumblr (the container), Tumblr Post (for individual posts), and Tumblr Ask (for ask posts).

{{Tumblr Post}} and {{Tumblr Ask}} need to be placed inside {{Tumblr}} or else they won't look right

Usage Notes

"tags" is a list of words separated by spaces.
"numNotes" is the number of notes the post has.
You can place as many {{Tumblr Post}} templates as you want within the "post" parameter of {{Tumblr}}.
- If you just want one {{Tumblr Post}} then the shortened form of {{Tumblr}} may be more convenient.
"name" is the username
"pfp" is a link to a profile picture image. Make sure to include the file type! For example, pfp=Melonponsuke.png
- In any of the templates, if "name" is provided but not "pfp", then the post will use File:Dia"name".png instead. If this file doesn't exist, then you should fill out that parameter with "Tumblranon.png" or something similar.
You can place as many {{Tumblr Ask}} templates as you want within the "content" parameter of {{Tumblr Post}}, however Tumblr only uses one question at a time.
- There's also a shortened form for if you have just one ask and one answer.

Shortened Forms

In the shorthand forms, the "post" parameter of {{Template}} must be blank for it to work.

Shortened form for a single post.

This is the same as {{Tumblr|tags|numNotes|{{Tumblr Post|name|pfp|content}}}}

Shortened form for a single ask post.

This is the same as {{Tumblr|tags|numNotes|{{Tumblr Post|name|pfp|content|asker|askPfp|ask}}}}

Which is the same as {{Tumblr|tags|numNotes|{{Tumblr Post|name|pfp|content{{Tumblr Ask|asker|askPfp|ask}}}}
