It prints out facts on a line printer. Every once in a while it'll print out a new fact and the Universe will update accordingly. The line printer prints out facts with no punctuation in all caps, so the boundaries between facts are unclear; this is how new facts are created. Its evil counterpart is The Lie Machine.
