The Wiki Camp 2:The Wiki Camp 2 is not Uncyclopedia

The Wiki Camp 2 and Uncyclopedia are two very different wikis, all in terms of content, guidelines, and common sense, and those who attempt to compare one another are terribly clueless. Unfortunately, many outsiders have already made the terrible mistake of doing so, which shows their lack of knowledge about either wiki. If you'd like to look at Uncyclopedia to understand this essay better, do note there is a lot of sensitive/offensive content over there and that it will violate the rules and blacklist in a numerous amount of ways, so proceed with caution!

Content

Uncyclopedia's content focuses more on the satirical side, cracking jokes at anything and everything with a clear disregard on whether the jokes made are offensive or not. Its content is fairly rigid, almost all of it being misinformation presented humorously as information. Meanwhile, The Wiki Camp 2's content is more generic and loose, ranging from CSS hackery, to entire stories, as well as fully functional games. We also have satire, but we know not to cross lines, and we have boundaries. Often, pages will either not be filled with falsehoods or not have any statements of fact.

Guidelines

In terms of guidelines, Uncyclopedia is very straight to the point with its rules, only listing three. Its first rule, "Be funny and not just stupid", is not enforced. The second, "Don't be a dick", can basically be interpreted as "Have common sense", which is not visible anywhere on Uncyclopedia. I will not go over the third rule "Dance like you've never danced before!" for obvious reasons. The Wiki Camp 2's guidelines are split into two pages, "Rules" and "Blacklist". "Rules" covers basically everything you shouldn't do and is straightforwardly just "Be respectful", while "Blacklist" goes over everything that you should avoid writing about, just for the courtesy of other contributors.

Common sense

This should be pretty obvious, but will be laid out anyway. Uncyclopedia's common sense is almost, if not completely non-existent. Going into further detail would require explanatory details about offensive material, and I do not want to risk breaking any rules. (Reminder to be wary of any offensive content on Uncyclopedia!) The Wiki Camp 2 is clearly better when it comes to knowing right from wrong, which shouldn't need explaining, either.

Activity

The last time anyone actually used Uncyclopedia has to have been, like, a decade ago, right?

Conclusion

We are very different from Uncyclopedia in every conceivable way, and we wish to not be compared to whatever bullshittery they have going on.
