Transcontinental Rail Speedrun

The transcontinental rail speedrun is a speedrun that requires the runner to ride a specific set of Amtrak and tourist trains from Washington, D.C. to San Francisco, California via Chicago, Illinois, or vice versa. This will take multiple days.
Rules
The run begins upon setting foot on a vehicle while within the first station or tourist line.
The run ends upon setting foot in the final destination after having set foot in all of the other trains.
Between Amtrak stations and tourist lines, the runner may take a bus or Uber.
The runner must reach Chicago on the Capitol Limited and San Francisco on the California Zephyr.
Routing
The hypothesized fastest route is to begin at Strasburg, PA and make the following trips in the following order or vice versa:
- Strasburg Rail Road, Strasburg, PA
- Uber to Lancaster, PA
- Keystone Service or Pennsylvanian to 30th Street Station, Philadelphia, PA
- Acela or Northeast Regional to Union Station, Washington, D.C.
- Capitol Limited to Cumberland, MD
- Either of the following first, although both must be made:
- Western Maryland Scenic Railroad, Cumberland, MD
- Potomac Eagle Scenic Railroad, Romney, WV
- Capitol Limited to Alliance, OH
- Uber to Age of Steam Roundhouse, Sugarcreek, OH
- Uber to Alliance, OH
- Capitol Limited to Chicago, IL
