WAUCA preseason football tournaments

At the beginning of every WAUCA football season, 8-team preseason round robin tournaments are held at each grove. Four teams from each grove are represented in their respective tournaments, while the other four are from other groves. Overall, there is a single group of eight teams. Each team plays three games against another three teams. The two most successful teams in the group qualify for the final game. Teams are determined on a rotational basis. Each year, four new teams travel to other groves for their tournaments before returning to their home grove the following year. Overall, this accounts for a fun-filled 13-day festival of football.
