Binomial name
Sialia currucoides

Okinbirdies (Sialia currucoides) are passerine birds native to Lake Baikal and the Baikal Forest. Much like other baikalesque animals, okinbirdies, through convergent evolution, evolved to develop okinesque seal-like traits, despite being birds.

Behavior

Okinbirdies are omnivorous birds whose favourite foods are the detestable okinberries; they have evolved to resist the infamous poison of okinberries. They build their nests on oaken trees.

Range

Okinbirdies congregate throughout the Baikal Forest and along the shores of Lake Baikal. Some birds, however, made the perilous voyage to Lake Ladoga, where a rogue population has been established due to the 99.9% baikalesque conditions.
