Wikilandian Rugby Championship

The Wikilandian Rugby Championship (WRC) is Wikiland's annual rugby competition contested between the 166 groval teams. Each team plays seven home and seven away games, each against a different randomized opponent. Most of the 166 teams' home stadiums are purpose-built for rugby.

Much like in collegiate American football, a council of rugby journalists and analysts with representatives from each grove votes on the top 25 teams in the country. The No. 1 team in the country is awarded the title.

Similar Real World competitions include the Six Nations Championship (contested between England, France, Ireland, Italy, Scotland, and Wales) in the Northern Hemisphere and The Rugby Championship (contested between the Pumas of Argentina, the Wallabies of Australia, the All Blacks of New Zealand, and the Springboks of South Africa) in the Southern Hemisphere.

The WRC is not the only intergroval competition in Wikiland; qualification for Collabora's premier rugby tournament works like FIFA World Cup qualification, more specifically in Europe. Even then, games still have passionate fans.
