Alleles are the different variants of a gene that come from mutation and are found in the same particular location. Thus, alleles give rise to many variants known as phenotypes. In this game of slots, the alleles of the offspring stem from those of the parents and are chosen randomly. Some alleles have never been seen before, such as the lack of gasoline in seals, an autosomal recessive trait.
