Bees are pollinating insects. They are hymenopterans, closely related to wasps and ants. The Western honey bee is known for making honey, a substance inseparable from bees in pop culture.

Comb

Bees produce the most combs per capita in the developed world. These combs are made of wax, which can be molded into shapely forms due to their malleabeelity. These combs are then shipped overseas in large barges (larges for short).

Birds

Bees are closely related to the birds, as evidenced by their shared lack of permanent groundedness. Unfortunately, birds often eat the bee. Why?

Smallness

Bees are among the smallest things, alongside peas and fleas. We know these to be wee.
