Banjo

Not to be confused with the game Banjo-Kazooie and/or its main characters, Banjo and Kazooie.

The banjo is the heart and soul of bluegrass music. A descendant of African lutes, it is known for its fast picking rhythms that'll surely get listeners in the mood to clap or dance. It most famously competed in a duel with an acoustic guitar, with the banjo ultimately prevailing. It was a fun duel, though.
