Barley is a well-known cereal grain, being among the first to be cultivated. A kind of grass, barley first appeared around 9000 BC in the Fertile Crescent.

Barley plants do not grow well when fed water diluted with eco-friendly laundry detergents, as even Tide and Gain had slightly better effects. Actually, don't feed plants laundry detergents at all. Seriously, they're not good for their health.
