Even the most action-packed anime occasionally need some time to calm down and explore the relations and personalities between certain characters. This is where the beach episode comes in, though such episodes are typically seen as filler. As is always the case, beach episodes either take place on a beach or by a swimming pool, and the characters have some fun by the water.
