Blessed Token
The Blessed Token is a token infused with Divine power. It is the rarest and most expensive of all tokens.
- If the Blessed Token is currently not the rarest, increase the circulation of other tokens until it is.
- If the Blessed Token is currently not the most expensive, increase the token's sell price until it is.
Blessed Tokens cannot be played when there are 6 or less remaining competitors in the camp.
Any new Blessed Tokens that are created artificially (ie., not created by The Divine Goddess during analysis) have a 50% chance of immediately fizzling out and disappearing upon creation...
Usage
The Blessed Token grants immunity to whoever it is played on. However, if the target is unspecified or isn't facing imminent elimination (this includes being put up for voting), the immunity will instead be granted to a random competitor who is facing imminent elimination.
Rejoins/debuts/third things
In addition to granting immunity, the Blessed Token can also be used to bring a competitor into the camp.
- If a Blessed Token is played on an eliminated competitor, this competitor will rejoin the camp.
- If a Blessed Token is played on a non-competitor and the token user declares a player(s) for this non-competitor, this non-competitor will debut as an official competitor played by the specified player(s).
The player(s) of this competitor must choose at least one team to place their competitor on before the end of the economic period. If a team is not chosen, the rejoin/debut is cancelled and the Blessed Token will default to its usual effects.
- If this competitor is being played by multiple players, each player's choice will be honored. That said, only one player's choice is required for a successful rejoin/debut.
Some other third thing
Alternatively, you can play a Blessed Token on a competitor to give them an extra player(s) of your choice. Both the competitor and the player(s) must agree to this before the end of the economic period, lest this effect be cancelled and the Blessed Token default to its usual effects.
Cost
The current Eclipse level is . Update this as needed.
Divine power was never meant to be handled by mere competitors and therefore comes at a price - when the Blessed Token is used, the user must undergo the effect of the current Eclipse level (as well as the effects of every level previous) for the current challenge cycle. After this happens, the current Eclipse level is raised by .
- If the Blessed Token successfully causes a rejoin/debut/third thing, the current Eclipse level will be raised by an additional .
- An Eclipse level can't be a half, so it's rounded down with no extra effects. In other words, Eclipse is treated the same as Eclipse .
- If a competitor autoeliminates themselves via the Beans Token or quits the camp, the current Eclipse level will decrease by . (Note that functionally quitting by deciding to DNP does not count as actually quitting.)
- Any such eliminations that occurred during the current challenge cycle, but prior to the Blessed Token being played, will also be accounted for.
- The Eclipse level cannot go into the negatives.
- Also you can discard a Blessed Token to decrease the current Eclipse Level by
A table of Eclipse levels is shown below:
During results, if the token user does not place above their Eclipse level's placement requirement, they are automatically eliminated. This overrides any immunity effects, including that of this token if they used it on themself, but it can be countered. They are also Category:Stupid (official).
- Additionally, the user's tokens are turned into $OKIN which can be used to purchase items in the metaverse, including NFTs and land. The amount given is based on the exchange rate multiplied by 22.
After the 8th Eclipse level is breached, the Blessed Token enters Superball Overtime, whatever that is.
Superball Overtime
In a state of Superball Overtime, the token is unable to contain the unprecedented holy strength of itself. At this stage, the known laws of the competition begin to break down unpredictably and rapidly. Eclipse is removed as a game mechanic, letting Blessed Tokens function without downside, and everyone who has cleared a level of Eclipse gets a special golden icon next to their name.
- 7 Blessed Tokens will be added to The Divine Goddess's bank. Blessed Tokens will permanently cease production after this point, making it impossible for new Blessed Tokens to enter circulation.
Miscellaneous
- The user also does the Shiggy Wiggy. A unique animation is played for this.
- You cannot use a Blessed Token in the same economic period that it was given to you.
- The user of a Blessed Token can alternatively use it to kill Borgorath, if the latter is awakened. This removes Borgorath from the game.
Counterplay
Any and all negative effects of the Blessed Token can be ignored at the cost of 3 Weasel Tokens, 2 Snowball Tokens, and 5 Beans Token per use. This includes not increasing the Eclipse level. This does not remove a Beans+ membership.
