Despair is a bad emotion that is usually associated with being sad, upset, or sorrowful. Though despair is considered the worst of all time, some philosophers claim "In order to have Happy, you must also have Despair, so that the Happy is relatively Happy.
Reception
Critics give despair generally unfavorable reviews, citing its unpleasantness and referring to it as a "0 Star Emotion."
