While the sea lion patrols the oceans, the lion is the king of the jungle. Unusual for cats, lions live in hierarchal groups called prides; the dominant males, with their majestic manes, protect the pride's territory while the lionesses work together to look for food, such as zebras and giraffes.

Lions that are feeling happy are called catlions, while lions that are feeling sad are called anlions. Lions are actually not the mascot of the team Lions, but among TikTok's biggest commenters are the Detroit Lions.

Lions are first introduced in the Jungle World. Though not as dangerous as tigers, they are still noted enemies.
