NerpaPunch
NerpaPunch is an award-based social media and package-tracking website founded in January 2010. NerpaPunch is primarily used as a browser extension, in which posts on other websites can be given "awards". These awards vary from complimentary to disparaging. Awarded posts are then featured on the main NerpaPunch website, where users can natively discuss.
NerpaPunch can also be used to view the shipping progress of mail and packages.
Bulletins
Aside from replies directly to award notifications, discussion boards on NerpaPunch, also known as clumps, are sorted into like categories of bulletins, or groves. NerpaPunch utilizes a familiar forum structure, in which users reply to a parent post in a thread. Bulletins are often referred to in shorthand by a two-letter initial.
DailyHighlight
Named after the NerpaPunch Daily Highlight Award, this bulletin is for in-depth discussion of high-quality posts. Unlike other bulletins, threads in this category are automatically archived after 24 hours.
ChatterBox
ChatterBox is the website's general discussion forum, and as such its most popular. It is also the most heavily moderated bulletin and is therefore often labeled by experienced Punchers as a "noobytrap".
PlayPause
The NerpaPunch general art bulletin. This category is (in)famous for being the birthplace of many popular content creators, which resident Punchers label "byegones".
LaughingStock
LaughingStock is a controversial bulletin, billed as "punching the world with humor", but often regarded as a category for mockery and ridicule. LS is the second most popular bulletin, its active users nearly equaling every other non-CB bulleting combined. Its sardonic nature often puts it at odds with the other users of NerpaPunch and is usually where most well-known controversies associated with NerpaPunch originate.

BeCivil
The BeCivil bulletin was the politics-focused category. It was widely regarded as highly toxic. Users who would use NerpaPunch only for BeCivil were called "beesees". It was shut down on March 12 2017, and NerpaPunch's Terms of Condition were updated to disallow "political discussion and awards," and event known as the "Beesaxing". Following this, most beesees abandoned NerpaPunch entirely, though many integrated into LaughingStock.
RageBait
The RageBait bulletin would focus on anger-inducing posts, which were typically awarded NerpaPunch Volcano. This bulletin was eventually merged into LaughingStock.
Awards
Awards are given out through the NerpaPunch browser extension or through the NerpaPunch website's AwardGiver tool, which accepts a direct URL of a post. Every award given can be seen on the NerpaPunch MasterList.
Awards are worth a certain amount of "credit", which varies hourly based on the relative abundance of that award. A user's CreditCount weighs both awards given and received through an obscured, unknown algorithm. The Top100 is a list of the top hundred users with the highest CreditCount. There is no award or advantage to having a higher CreditCount.
