Open Source Sesame
Open Source Sesame is a free and open-source 3D computer graphics software tool originally designed for children. It was created by an unknown internet user and released in 1999. It has been modified by many members of its community, with the most stable versions being hosted on a fan site managed by Yeti Mullins. While it can be used for any 3D modelling, it was created for, and is mostly used for the process of creating characters that are members of the species Open Sesame.
History
The first version of the software was uploaded anonymously on the now-deprecated website NerpaSlap. While many modified versions of the software exist, most users use the versions released on Open Source Sesame's unofficial website as a base.
Features
The amount of features depends on the version, but the base software includes several tools that allow you to create and modify shapes. The shapes provided by default are the sphere, cylinder, cone, cube, plane, donut, as well as the Open Sesame shape that is generated when a new project is made.
