Oupydisc is a strictly two-dimensional being with debatable sentience. Due to its Half-Life being in microseconds, little is known about it. It is suspected to be an alkaline metal, although it behaves quite differently compared to barium and radium. It is described as a 'loathsome creature' by most chemists due to its unmistakably evil aura. Further research is heavily cautioned against.

Only small quantities of Oupydisc have been synthesized; most investigations of its properties are in early testing phases. It seems to be pretty useless due to its rarity and short half-life
