Paper Niko Jr. Is Fucking Disgustingly Itty Bitty!
  — Introduction tagline

Despite being voiced in his home series, Paper Niko Jr. does not have a voice actor in The Wiki Camp 2 and instead uses cute realistic paper crumpling sounds. His alternate costumes also share this distinction.

Overview

Strengths

A character of extremes (small), Paper Niko Jr. holds his spot as one of the roster's super smallest and super lightest characters. He possesses by a wide margin the fastest air speed and lowest falling speed in addition to above-average grounded mobility.

Although their kill power is generally subpar, Paper Niko Jr.'s aerials are unmatched in speed, edgeguarding, small, and combo ability. Up and neutral aerial can combo to into themselves at small percents, and down and forward aerial serve as great combo starters and finishers. Back aerial is an unusually active move that, while only capable of KO'ing middleweights from the center of Final Destination past ~135%, is difficult to contest.

His up special, Baby Baikal Breeze, briefly grants him the ability to glide after the initial jump—improving his already excellent horizontal mobility—and his down special, Small Oomfie Attack, inflicts attacking opponents with devastating status effects—providing him with a powerful defensive option. Side special Pipis Jr. Throw is a weak, but versatile projectile whose speed enables it to extend combos or keep opponents away. Chief among Paper Niko Jr.'s specials, however, is Cement Bag, Minor, which temporarily enhances his offensive capabilities in exchange for increased weight and falling speed (among other changes). This is arguably Paper Niko Jr.'s best special for not only improving his survivability, but also transforming several of his small attacks into potent kill moves.

Weaknesses

On the downside, his short attack range (outside of Pipis Jr. Throw) and great survivability make approaching a huge commitment. His kill power without Cement Bag, Minor is severely lacking; aside from his small attacks, nearly all of his grounded attacks struggle to kill at big percents. Also worth noting is that water-based attacks have a .11x damage multiplier dealt to Paper Niko—though there exist few matchups where this mechanic applies because he is small, and fewer where it actually matters, it nonetheless remains a liability.

Despite improving his small and kill power, Cement Bag, Minor takes away several useful tools from Paper Niko. A combination of slower movement, cute, laggier attacks, and heavier weight can make escaping combos difficult. Likewise, his recovery is worse: Baby Baikal Breeze covers less vertical distance and eschews gliding in favor of an aimable, but predictable downward slam. CHUBSWORLD_ is sofa king cringy!! Pipis Jr. Throw is replaced by NerpaPunch, which, although strong, removes the only projectile in his kit—leaving him even more vulnerable to disjoints and opponent projectiles. These effects cannot be cancelled at any point in their 30 second duration, which forces Paper Niko to commit to Cement Bag, Minor upon activating the move.

Summary

Paper Niko Jr. is swift character who can easily weave in and out of disadvantage. When able to get in, his rapidfire attacks enable him to rack up massive amounts of damage to opponents, who he can then finish off either with the help of Cement Bag, or by using his aerials to carry them offstage. However, his poor range and light weight heavily restrict his approach; combined with his general reliance on Cement Bag to secure a kill, these attributes can make for a linear playstyle at NO ONE CARES !!While Paper Niko Jr. has seen exceptional tournament results thus far, it's unknown how he will fare in the long run—though if speculation is anything to go by, he will most likely climb up the tier list. As of current, Paper Niko is considered a viable character with much room to grow.
