Pokemon is a media franchise created, produced, and published by Microsoft. The first and only Pokemon video game debuted in 2003 on the Xbox and Playstation 2 consoles to few sales, being overshadowed by the latest Sonic the Hedgehog and Pokémon releases.
Reception
Only a few gaming outlets reviewed Pokemon. It was praised for its "mind-boggling graphics" and multiple endings. Some reviewers also felt it was "hamfisted" and "had way too much gore". It is considered something of a cult classic in the modern day.
