Most people nowadays think of the term "Roman Empire" as things they think about a lot. Some may say theirs is music, while others' would be seals. When it comes to the likes of Trajan, Hadrian, Augustus, etc., their Roman Empire was... well, the Roman Empire, a fearsome regime circling the entire Mediterranean coast.

The Roman Empire originally believed in an ensemble cast of deities led by Jupiter, the namesake of the Solar System's biggest planet. Eventually, the gods were ditched in favour of Christianity. Even after the split (see the Byzantine Empire), the Roman Empire was a stronghold of the fledgling religion.
