[[Ghana]]'s Black Stars, named after the Black Star of Africa on the Ghanaian flag, would achieve this feat in 2010 on their home continent (specifically in [[South Africa]]), but unfortunately lost to [[Uruguay]] on penalties after a scandalous match.
