Tegucigalpa

Tegucigalpa and its twin city Comayagüela are the capital cities of Honduras. Separated by the Choluteca River, the area has a population of 1.5 million. The name Tegucigalpa is said to come from Nahuatl Taguz-galpa, "hills of silver".
