Jamson would go into a nearby town, bringing a recipe with him that he believed "would create The Most Superb Biscuit in the World". He showed the recipe to the locals and folks were skeptical at first as it was a recipe to only create a singular biscuit. Though after much discussion, they agreed to help him make this biscuit and after it's creation, they had indeed created The Most Superb Biscuit in the World and they knew it when it shined bright gold. Responses to the biscuit ended up being overwhelmingly positive and lead the recipe to become widespread in the United Kingdom, even finding it's way into other countries not too long afterwards.
True Creator?
Later on, due to massive fame and constant public attention. Jamson would begin to feel immense guilt and this would lead to him revealing that he was actually not the creator of the recipe to the public. He said the recipe was rather created by a close friend of his who always wished to remain anonymous but wanted to share his recipe with the world and was fine with Jamson lying as it meant he'd be out of public eye.
Keeping his best friend's wishes always in mind, Jamson never revealed him by name to anyone which did cause a lot of controversy at the time, but some were very understanding of this choice. Jamson passed away early in the 19th century, leaving the original creator of the recipe to be a complete mystery that has still never been solved to this day.
