A toy is an object that lets you do things in a playful manner. A great example is The Toy Where You Put The Shape In The Corresponding Hole. Not all toys adopt this naming scheme, though. The Doll Of A Blonde Girl is officially named Barbie, The Toy That Looks Like A Train is simply named the toy train, and The Toy That Lets You Own A Virtual Pet is sold as Tamagotchi.
