Gladiator
This article contains information |

Gladiator is a type of human that exists on Earth. Some people might say "Oh. But they don't exist anymore, like dinosaurs, or santa claus." This is also true.[citation needed]
They fought in arenas in front of crowds. Viewership peaked in the 1st century, but fell off over time as people found better stuff to do.
Types of gladiators
There are several types of gladiators.
- The kind that hold spears.
- The kind that hold axes.
- The kind that hold nothing at all.
- The kind that hold swords.
- The kind that hold shields (big)
- The kind that hold shields (small)
- The kind that hold tridents.
The different kinds of gladiators had different names, just like how in Video games mages have different classes. You can find the names for these kinds of gladiators elsewhere.
History
Historically gladiators have been used to fight off beasts of various kinds, similar to heroes from Video games. This makes it so that normal people don't have to fight the beasts.
Some examples of gladiators in history:
Gladiators were also sometimes pitted against other people, but that's generally not okay, since fighting is bad and frowned upon on Earth.
Gladiators generally didn't like being gladiators because of the dangers of the job, however, most of them stayed gladiators because they had to be. This sucked and so was changed later on. Historically speaking gladiators were famous for their beast slaying [citation needed] and abilities to entertain a crowd, similar to a Clown. Sometimes people would gamble on gladiator fights, to make it more exciting. This is stupid because people fighting to the death is already pretty exciting if you like that sort of thing. If you didn't like that sort of thing, you could go watch something normal like television.
Schools of Thought
Some people think gladiators are movies while others do not. That is because gladiators are People. This claim however, is unverified.
Movies School Of thought
Currently, any proponents of the movies school of thought are unknown. I know of their existence because of the category:movies that has been applied to this article, but I have yet to be able to interview them in order to understand why they think the way they do. If you are a movies thought expert, please add your reasons below:
- Hello. Person in the Movie School of thought here. I am in the Movie School of thought because Gladiator is a 2000 film directed by Ridley Scott starring Russel Crowe and Joaquin Phoneix. It won the Academy Award for Best Picture. I haven't seen it, but it looks pretty cool. Also it's where MF DOOM gets his mask from. That is all :)
People School Of thought
The people school of thought believe that gladiators are a subcategory of People. This is because they are people. People =/= movies, which makes it so gladiators isn't movies. Proponents of this theory state that gladiators historically have always been people, and have rarely, if ever, been anything else before. There isn't much more to say on the subject, because the logic is so simple that even a Baby could understand it.
Weaknesses (known)
Gladiators have several weaknesses that are often utilized in combat. For one, they were often not wearing very much clothing. This made them weak to the cold. Another weakness is that they are human so they will (eventually) die of old age. This is what happened to most gladiators. Again, similar to dinosaurs, they too also are weak to catastrophic events, such as meteor[1]. This makes defeating them seem simple on the surface, however, it isn't as it seems. Gladiators have weapons. This makes it hard to defeat them through normal means.
Weaknesses (unknown)
There are many theoretical weaknesses to gladiators. Some possible theories, sorted by most likely to least likely include:
- Psychological weaknesses
- Milk
- Milk (spoiled)
- Spear
- Lightning
- Dinosaurs
In popular culture
Gladiators have never been featured in popular culture, and should never be under any circumstances to avoid "The Santa Claus effect". Anyone speaking about a "Gladiator" film is completely wrong.
