Tabletop gaming is the more immersive and therefore much better form of gaming.

Board games

The most famous tabletop games are board games. You simply need the board and its pieces. Some of the finest board games include chess, go, Scrabble, and Cranium, though there are many others.

Card games

Wanna see a magic trick? Then check out card games. A fun little game of poker/Balatro or Magic: The Gathering will blow your mind away!

List of Card Games

Dexterity games

These games require fine motor skills that come in handcrafted packs from Dexter's Laboratory. The only documented dexterity game thus far is a toddler's favourite, Cranium Hullabaloo.

Paper and pencil games

These games are easy to play when you're bored during school lunches and indoor recess. By far the best paper and pencil game is sudoku, though crossword is getting up there.

Tile-based games

All you need is a bunch of tiles. The most famous tile-based game is riichi mahjong.

Computer games

A laptop is named that because you can put it on your lap. But you can put laptops on tables too! In fact, I do that more than I put them on my lap. So really, I think any game you play on a laptop on a table should count as a tabletop game. Examples of games you can play on a laptop on a table include Minecraft, Overwatch 2, and Club Penguin.
