The Blessed Token is a token infused with Divine power. It is the rarest of all tokens.
Usage
The Blessed Token grants immunity to whoever it is played on. However, if the target is unspecified or isn't facing imminent elimination (this includes being put up for voting), the immunity will instead be granted to a random competitor who is facing imminent elimination.
Rejoins/debuts
In addition to granting immunity, the Blessed Token can also be used to bring a competitor into the camp:
- If a Blessed Token is played on an eliminated competitor, this competitor will rejoin the camp.
- If the competitor refuses the offer, the Token is refunded and does not increase the Eclipse level.
- If a Blessed Token is played on a non-competitor and the token user declares a player for this non-competitor, this non-competitor will debut as an official competitor played by the specified player.
During voting, this competitor can declare which team they will join by PM'ing User:Satomi. If they do not declare a team, they will be placed on the last team they competed on—failing that, they will be autoeliminated at the start of the next challenge.
Cost
This Divine power comes at a price: when the Blessed Token is used, the user must undergo the effect of the current Eclipse level (as well as the effects of every level previous) for the current challenge cycle. After this happens, the current Eclipse level is raised by one. Note that this means the first person to use the Blessed Token will not undergo any effects.
A table of Eclipse levels is shown below:
During results, if the token user does not place above their Eclipse level's placement requirement, they are automatically eliminated. This overrides any immunity effects, including that of this token if they used it on themself, but it can be countered. They are also Category:Stupid (official).
- Additionally, the user's tokens are turned into $OKIN which can be used to purchase items in the metaverse, including NFTs and land. The amount given is based on the exchange rate multiplied by 107.
After the last Eclipse level is breached, the Blessed Token enters Superball Overtime.
Superball Overtime
In a state of Superball Overtime, the token is unable to contain the unprecedented holy strength of itself. At this stage, the known laws of the competition begin to break down unpredictably.
Miscellaneous
- The user also does the Shiggy Wiggy. A unique animation is played for this.
- A Blessed Token cannot be used during the same economic period it is traded.
- The user of a Blessed Token can alternatively use it to kill Borgorath, if the latter is awakened. This removes Borgorath from the game.
Counterplay
Any and all negative effects of the Blessed Token can be ignored at the cost of 3 Weasel Tokens, 2 Snowball Tokens, and 5 Beans Token per use. This includes not increasing the Eclipse level. This does not remove a Beans+ membership.
